History & Heritage
Occupying 94 hectares on the eastern headland of Ulsan, this scenic park boasts a 303-meter coastal suspension bridge, historic Ulgi Lighthouse (1906), and dramatic ocean trails.
Legend dates back to the 7th-century Silla King Munmu and Queen Jaui who dedicated their spirits to safeguarding the nation.
Ulgi Lighthouse was erected in 1906 as the first modern navigational aid on the southeastern coast.
