Account Deletion
How to delete your MyWorkFiles account (Android app com.alisoplay.myworkfiles, developed by Alisoplay) and the server-side data associated with it.
You do not need to sign in to use this page.
Option 1: Delete your account in the MyWorkFiles app
If you can still sign in, this is the most direct way. The option appears only when you are signed in to a registered account (not Guest mode).
- Open MyWorkFiles and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings (or Account) and tap Security & Privacy.
- Tap Delete account.
- Read the notice, tick the confirmation box and tap Delete account. You may be asked to verify your identity again.
If your account owns a Workspace that still has other active members, the app will ask you to remove those members first. If you do not see Delete account in your version of the app, use the web request below.
Option 2: Request deletion on the web
Use this form if you cannot access the app, have uninstalled it, or prefer to request deletion online. We only need the email address associated with your account. Never send your password, verification codes or payment-card details.
Account deletion request
To protect your account, we may contact you at this email address to confirm ownership before deleting it. A web request cannot remove data stored on your devices — see “Data stored on your device” below.
What is deleted
When an account deletion is completed, Alisoplay deletes the server-side data associated with that MyWorkFiles account, including, where applicable:
- Your MyWorkFiles sign-in account (authentication record) and account profile.
- Work you synced to MyWorkFiles Cloud and files stored in MyWorkFiles Cloud storage under the account, if you used Cloud features.
- Workspaces owned by the account, with their memberships and pending invitations, once any remaining members have been resolved.
- Other server-side records linked to the account, such as account settings and sync status, except the information described under “What may be kept”.
When you delete your account inside the app, MyWorkFiles also removes that account’s local data and app-managed files on the device where you perform the deletion. Guest-mode data and other accounts on that device are not deleted.
What may be kept
Limited information may be kept where required or permitted for legal obligations (for example tax or accounting rules), transaction and subscription records, security and fraud prevention, or resolving disputes. For example:
- Records needed to document purchases or subscription entitlements.
- A record of your deletion request and related support correspondence, to show that the request was handled.
- Purchase and payment records held by Google Play. These are controlled by Google under its own terms and policies, and Alisoplay cannot delete them.
Alisoplay does not apply a single fixed retention period; retention depends on the purpose, as described in the MyWorkFiles Privacy Policy.
Data stored on your device
MyWorkFiles is local-first: much of your work content — such as work records, documents and files — is stored on your device rather than on Alisoplay servers.
Deleting your account, especially through the web request, does not automatically erase copies outside Alisoplay’s servers, including:
- documents, work records and files stored locally on your phone or other devices;
- local backups;
- files you exported or shared (for example PDF or CSV exports);
- copies saved to Google Drive or any other storage location you chose.
You control these copies. To remove them, delete them in the app, clear the MyWorkFiles app data or uninstall the app on each device, and delete exported files and backups from wherever you saved them.
Google Play subscriptions
Deleting your MyWorkFiles account does not cancel a Google Play subscription, and this website cannot cancel Google Play billing for you. If you have an active subscription (for example Pro, Cloud or Complete), cancel it in Google Play to avoid future charges:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select MyWorkFiles and tap Cancel subscription.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account either.
