Prepare your Korean employment contract for a useful review
An employment contract is most useful when you can connect each clause to what will actually happen at work. Keep the Korean document and any translation together, and mark questions where the wording differs. Do not replace the employer's original with your annotations.

What to locate
MOEL's contract guidance identifies core written conditions including pay, working hours, holidays and leave, and provides a standard-form reference. Use that official starting point to locate the corresponding terms in your own agreement, not as proof that any downloaded template is suitable for every arrangement.
Alisoplay review worksheet
Make a short table with the clause, what you understand it to mean and your question. Include the employer's identity, job, workplace, start date, contract period, ordinary schedule, breaks, pay components and payment date. These are practical review headings, not a statement that every legal issue is covered.
If accommodation, meals, transport or other deductions are discussed separately, ask how they relate to the written agreement and pay statement. If a recruiter and workplace gave different explanations, record both and request clarification before relying on either. Keep signed versions distinct from unsigned proposals.
Check language and circumstances
Preserve important Korean terms so a counselor can find the exact clause. Ask an interpreter or qualified adviser to resolve material differences; do not assume a translation overrides the signed text. Changes to the workplace, duties or residence status can raise separate questions that a general contract template cannot settle.
The linked MOEL page is an information and illustrated-template reference, not a certified current form for your particular arrangement. Confirm the applicable form and advice with MOEL before signing. This preparation guide does not declare your contract lawful or unlawful, does not supply a new contract and does not invent mandatory fees or document requirements.
