Build a practical evidence pack

For each pay period, note the agreed payment date, the amount shown on the statement, payments actually received and the item you believe remains unpaid. Keep estimates clearly labelled. Add relevant contracts, pay statements, work schedules, time records and messages without altering their contents. If documents are missing, record which ones and when you requested them.

Identify the employer and workplace as accurately as possible. Explain whether you still work there and whether the dispute concerns ordinary wages, overtime, deductions, final pay or severance.
