Overview & Privacy Principles

Alisoplay ("we", "our", or "us") developed KIIP 0 TO 5 (Package: com.alisoplay.kiip_aliso) as an educational study companion for learners preparing for the Korea Immigration & Integration Program (KIIP). We believe that language learning should be safe, private, and accessible. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user information, device permissions, and third-party advertising services.

1. Independent Educational Status & Non-Affiliation

KIIP 0 TO 5 is an independent educational study companion and test preparation tool developed by Alisoplay.

The application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official service of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea (법무부) or the Korea Immigration Service Foundation (Socinet / 사회통합정보망).

Official course registration, official attendance hours, and official certificate issuance must be conducted directly through the official Socinet portal (socinet.go.kr).

2. Offline-First Local Storage & Optional Alisoplay Cloud Progress Synchronization

By default, KIIP 0 TO 5 operates as an offline-first learning application. All learning data and educational progression are stored locally on your Android device using standard Android SharedPreferences storage. This data includes:

Optional Alisoplay Unified Account & Cloud Sync: If you choose to register or sign in with an Alisoplay account, your structured learning milestones (completed lesson identifiers, formative 5-question Mini Quiz scores, exam results, and current learning position) are securely synchronized over HTTPS with Alisoplay servers. This ensures your learning progress is safely preserved and accessible across devices. Offline guest users retain 100% of their data locally without cloud transmission. Voice audio and microphone streams are NEVER recorded, synchronized, or stored in the cloud.

  • Completed lessons and section checkpoints across Levels 0 through 5
  • Formative 5-question Mini Quiz scores and pass/fail statuses
  • Practice bookmarks, flashcard review states, and handwriting completion flags
  • User preferences such as explanation language selection, text size, and audio speed

3. Microphone & Speech Recognition Permission (RECORD_AUDIO)

The application requests the Android RECORD_AUDIO permission strictly to provide the live pronunciation evaluation feature.

When you tap the microphone button to practice speaking a Korean sentence, audio is converted to text in real time on your device to calculate pronunciation accuracy.

Zero Audio Storage or Transmission: Audio data is NEVER recorded to any permanent audio file, NEVER saved to device storage, and NEVER transmitted to Alisoplay servers or any third-party cloud. As soon as the pronunciation assessment is computed, the audio stream is instantly discarded.

4. Advertising Services & Google AdMob

KIIP 0 TO 5 offers free access to all 88 lessons and formative quizzes, supported by advertising displayed via Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob).

The application displays standard banner ads during normal lesson study and offers optional rewarded video ads.

Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process technical device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / GAID), coarse location based on IP address, and app diagnostics in accordance with Google privacy policies.

Advertising data is strictly segregated from your learning progress. Alisoplay never links advertising identifiers with your study history.

6. In-App Purchases & Google Play Billing

The application may offer optional in-app purchases, such as End-of-Level Assessment simulation passes.

All payments are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. Alisoplay does not collect, receive, process, or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials.

Transactions are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Children’s Privacy

KIIP 0 TO 5 is designed for adult immigrants and general learners. The application complies with Google Play Families Policy guidelines and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

8. Data Control, Account Deletion & Rights

Users have full and immediate custody over their personal data and educational records:

In-App Account Deletion: Signed-in users can permanently delete their Alisoplay account and all cloud-synchronized learning progress directly inside the KIIP application under Settings > Alisoplay Account > Delete Account.

Public Web Deletion Request: Anyone may also submit an irreversible account and data deletion request at any time without signing in via our dedicated public portal at https://alisoplay.com/en/account-deletion.

Guest Learners: Because all learning progress is stored locally within the application sandbox on your device in guest mode, you can reset or permanently delete all saved learning progress and scores at any time by:

  • Navigating to Android Settings > Apps > KIIP 0 TO 5 > Storage > Clear Data
  • Uninstalling the application from your device, which automatically purges all locally stored data
