Rising from the mirror-like waters of the Namhangang River, Dodamsambong consists of three karst peaks formed by millennia of limestone erosion, designated National Scenic Site No. 44.
Folklore recounts young Jeong Do-jeon outwitting Gangwon officials who demanded taxes for rocks washed down in a flood.
Immortalized in celebrated Joseon landscape masterworks by court painters Danwon Kim Hong-do and Gyeomjae Jeong Seon.
