Spanning 3.3 million square meters in Buyeo, the final capital of Baekje (538–660 CE), this sweeping heritage park brings to life the sophisticated arts and architecture of the Three Kingdoms era.
King Seong moved the capital to Sabi in 538 CE, ushering in an era of open sea trade and exquisite Buddhist craftsmanship.
Between 1994 and 2010, Korea’s top master carpenters painstakingly reconstructed the complex using traditional joinery without modern fasteners.
