National AI Computing Center project advances in Haenam

Samsung SDS announced an August 3 groundbreaking ceremony for the National AI Computing Center at Solaseado in Haenam. MSIT had selected the consortium for the public-private computing infrastructure project.
The announced plan targets completion in 2028, with about 15,000 AI chips. GPU and NPU resources are intended to support startups, smaller businesses, universities and research institutions.
