Connecting Daejeon’s Government Complex with Expo Science Park, this 37-hectare green sanctuary provides research and public leisure with over 1,700 botanical species.

The West Garden opened in 2005 focusing on native wetlands and wild shrub forests.

The East Garden opened in 2009 and the Tropical Greenhouse in 2011, establishing a complete urban biosphere.
