Account & Data Deletion Request — MyWorkFiles
Official instructions and procedures for permanently deleting your user account and associated personal data from MyWorkFiles (com.alisoplay.myworkfiles) and Alisoplay cloud infrastructure.

1. Overview and Privacy Commitment
Alisoplay believes in giving you complete ownership and control over your personal information. Under Google Play User Data policies and international privacy frameworks, you have the absolute right to delete your MyWorkFiles account and all associated personal records at any time—either directly within the Android app or via email request on the web without needing the app installed.
2. Immediate In-App Deletion (Recommended)
To delete your account and associated data immediately using the application:
- Open the MyWorkFiles app on your Android device.
- Navigate to Settings from the navigation menu or navigation bar.
- Tap on Account.
- Scroll down to the danger zone and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion request when prompted.
Upon confirmation, the app securely triggers the deleteMyWorkFilesAccount Cloud Function, which performs atomic server-side erasure and purges local device data.
3. Web & Email Deletion Request (Without App)
If you have uninstalled the app, lost your device, or cannot sign in, you can request full account deletion via email:
- Send an email to: alisoplay.apps@gmail.com
- Subject line: MyWorkFiles Account Deletion Request
- Message body: Please send the message from the email address registered with your MyWorkFiles account so we can verify account ownership.
Upon identity verification, your account and all associated cloud data will be permanently and irreversibly purged within 30 days.
4. What Data Is Permanently Deleted?
Initiating an account deletion permanently destroys the following records:
- Authentication Credentials: Your Firebase Authentication user record, UID, and login associations.
- User Profile: Your name, email, avatar URL, and cloud preferences stored in Cloud Firestore.
- Workspaces & Collaboration: Workspaces owned by you, along with cloud-synced text records, sheets, and tasks.
- Invitations & Sharing: All pending workspace invites and specific-item sharing permissions created by you.
- Local Storage: When executed from the app, the local SQLite/Drift database cache on the device is wiped.
5. Critical Notice Regarding Google Play Subscriptions
Warning: Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel your Google Play subscriptions!
Recurring subscriptions (such as Pro, Cloud, or Extra Workspace Seats) are billed and managed directly through Google Play. To prevent future charges, you must manually cancel your subscription through Google Play Store:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
- Tap your Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Locate MyWorkFiles and tap Cancel subscription.
